Business Developer Job Products and Role Overview

Title: Business Developer – Builder Services

Overview: The Business Developer is relationship and sales driven; responsible for pursuing and developing strategically targeted new business opportunities in the home builder and land development industries around the Tampa Bay Area. As a salesperson, the Business Developer follows the defined Cornerstone Solutions Group sales program to seek out, present, and obtain new builder service opportunities. The ideal candidate would have experience in the national home builder or closely related industries.

Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the Director of Business Development.

Defining a “win” in the Business Developer role: Success in the role ensures that contracted revenue is growing from existing relationships and new lead sources, client retention rates are maintained and that existing account cross-sell and upsell opportunities are realized and profitable. The underlying attitude for success is one of team collaboration (win-win), professional integrity, and results-orientation.

Builder Services:

· Home Builder Landscape & Irrigation

· Environmental Erosion Control

· Cornerstone Land Services

Key Accountabilities:

· New Account Expansion: Seek new business opportunities in the market. Identify, create, and maintain trusted partnerships with key decision makers. This should equate to 60% of a Business Developers activity.

· Existing Account Expansion: Work in collaboration with the client to sell additional service offerings. This should equate to 30% of a Business Developers activity.

· Vendor Partnerships: Identify vendor partner opportunities for business development purposes.

· Internal Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal Cornerstone Solutions Group team members to ensure client, prospect, and company success.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
