We are looking for an accomplished salesperson who is searching for the opportunity to reap maximum reward for their efforts to help local businesses in their community grow.
Job Description
Valpak, best known for our iconic "blue envelope", helps local business grow through direct mail, online and mobile advertising. Our broad range of marketing solutions are delivered in over 100 markets across the country. They are proven to help businesses maximize the return on their advertising investment.
We are looking to add a B2B sales representative to our Northern Colorado team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a highly successful background and training in outside B2B sales and service and reside in Northern Colorado (Longmont to Fort Collins).
In this position, you will start with a small base of existing customers. You will be required to build from this base through prospecting, cold calls, negotiation, and closing. Our advertising programs are so successful that your customers will buy from you time and time again. You will grow and retain your customer base by using state of the art measurement and reporting tools along with excellent customer service skills, to form lasting partnerships with local businesses.
The successful candidate will join an established team of local sales professionals with tenures ranging from 2 to over 20 years. Our regional office is located in Fort Collins where you will receive on-going sales training and be assisted by our award-winning office and support staff.
Starting compensation is based upon experience but is highly competitive for our industry. As your skills and business partnerships grow, so will your earnings. On average, our sales representatives are making well into six-figure incomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven record of success in B2B outside sales and service or equivalent achievements
- Some college and training or education in sales perferred.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and customer relationship skills
- Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Basic understanding of traditional and digital marketing tools and strategies.
- Strong skill set in computer and web-based business and CRM software
