Responsibilities:
· Oversee day to day Revenue Management of four branded hotels in prime A+ Miami locations and assist the Vice President of Operations on revenue initiatives for hotels that are asset managed in other Florida markets.
· Supervise, coach and train one revenue analyst team member.
· Host weekly Revenue Strategy Meetings utilizing Brand Revenue Systems and Tools. Examples include One Yield, MRDW reports, MarRFP, Marsha, PRIO, Kalibri Labs, etc.
· Responsible for learning all brands within the Portfolio and assisting in building a team that is cross trained on all systems.
· Ensure that weekly group and transient pace reports are an active part of each hotel’s revenue process.
· Prepare and issue biweekly forecasts for each property.
· Evaluating group booking requests to ensure that each hotel is optimizing group segment performance.
· Assisting in the development of all Hotel budgets.
· Maintain a strong understanding of the local market and how national changes are affecting travel patterns.
· Monitor the analyst effectiveness in forecast accuracy and implement specific training where needed to achieve less than 5% variance to actual.
· Execute displacement model for large, contracted business for duration of 6 months or longer stay pattern.
· Conduct and document weekly 1x1 sessions with the revenue analyst.
· Participate in month end meetings with hotel owners.
· Ensure that active relationships exist between each point of the Sales, Revenue, and eCommerce triangle.
· Mentor the team on effective package creation including partners in the community, value offerings, and seasonal demand generation.
· Analysis of STR performance both weekly and monthly, with prepared documentation on core challenges for any hotel losing share as a trend.
· Manages the processes associated with demand, revenue, forecasting, opportunity analysis, and inventory management.
· Determines and manages hotels sales strategy and pricing for transient, group, and corporate segments with yield management tools available to maximize revenue.
· Finding new ways to effectively generate revenues. Consistently taking a strategic and competitive approach
· Identifying revenue problems and opportunities with sufficient lead time to positively impact revenues.
· Continuous analysis of competitive sets, price positioning, seasonality, and mix.
· Understand all current brand promotions to identify which ones would best fit the current hotel strategy objectives.
· Monitor the various brands RFP Process to ensure timely participation and effective account execution relative to pricing, pattern, and production.
· Maintain basic knowledge of PMS systems and reporting for all hotels that relate to revenue reporting to ensure accurate segment tracking, package setup and adjustment tracking.
· Must be able to maintain positive and constructive relationships with Hotels Leaders, Regional Teams, Corporate staff, and all Brand Liaisons.
· Assist with the Marketing Plan relative to Revenue Management Statistics. Monitor action plans objectives relative to hotel defined strategy to meet financial objectives quarterly. Ensure that strategies are aligned with the needs of the hotel and demand trends in the market. Ensure the special events are updated regularly on the corporate (all hotel) Special Event Calendar.
· Attending any brand required training as well as other meetings requested by VP of Ops.
· Carry out any reasonable request by Management that you can perform and assist other Departments when required.
· Some travel will be required from time to time.
