As an International Sales Associate, you will primarily support International Solution Specialists responsible for origination and development of international business for the firm, focusing on treasury services. You will interact with our network of overseas bankers across the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific for both product execution and client coverage for our U.S. clients overseas. You will assist International Solution Specialists with delivering on new sales targets and achieving portfolio growth objectives. In addition, you will be responsible for mining the portfolio for additional opportunities, handle smaller client requests directly and deepen country/bank knowledge in order to grow into managing your own portfolio.
Our International Banking platform has helped clients take advantage of global opportunities by connecting them with international cash management, trade, liquidity management, financing and foreign exchange solutions. A qualified network of in-country experts and dedicated, US-based bankers leverage local knowledge to customize solutions to help clients expand internationally, navigate the complexities of global payments and understand market nuances.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with International Solution Specialist, product partners and international coverage teams on client related items including client proposals, global treasury solutions, cost/benefit analysis, pricing and profitability models
- Assist with client call preparation by creating relationship review materials, pitch books, account plans, and conducting customer research
- Understand clients' treasury cash management structure and objectives and work with team members to uncover and scope new revenue opportunities
- Develop and understand competitors’ products and positioning with clients and in the market
- Research clients within the portfolio to uncover areas of opportunities that we are unaware of using FactSet data and other publicly available information
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 3+ years of work experience within Banking, Professional Services or Corporate Treasury Roles preferably with treasury or international experience
- Strong interest in a client facing role and in working with experienced banking partners in order to recognize a client's business needs and propose appropriate banking solutions
- Demonstrates the ability to understand Treasury Services products, pricing philosophy, and billing process and procedures
- Strong drive and ambition to develop into an individual contributor salesperson
- Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and superior analytical and quantitative skills
