Overview:
We are currently looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our dynamic team in the Ohio Valley Region (covering Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania). As a company, we value leadership, sales expertise, and a focus on achieving outstanding results. This role requires a candidate who resides within the region and is willing to travel, approximately 50% – 75% of the time.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of success in driving sales growth and maintaining exceptional customer retention rates. Moreover, we are seeking someone with exceptional leadership skills and experience in effectively managing overall team performance. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around mentoring and developing our field sales employees. You will play a pivotal role in implementing innovative sales process enhancements and leveraging cutting-edge sales enablement tools, technologies, and best practices to boost productivity and enrich the customer journey.
Responsibilities:
Title: Regional Manager
Location: Must live in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania
Compensation: $125K/yr - $150K/yr.

Responsibilities:
Leadership and Guidance to Field Employees
- Be a role model and inspire a high-performance culture within the team.
- Set clear performance expectations and communicate them effectively to the field employees.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to help team members improve their skills and achieve their targets.
- Identify strengths and areas for improvement in the team and tailor coaching accordingly.
- Encourage teamwork and foster collaboration among field employees to achieve collective goals.
- Regularly recognize and reward exceptional performance to motivate the team.
Monitoring and Analyzing Sales Performance Metrics
- Implement a robust system to monitor and track sales performance metrics, such as revenue, gross profit, pipeline, and conversion rates.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Use data insights to develop strategies for improving sales performance and achieving targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with individual team members to discuss progress and address any issues.
Relationship Building and Collaboration
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and strategic partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Total Solutions, and Sales Success to ensure a cohesive customer experience.
- Act as a liaison between the field sales team and other departments to facilitate seamless communication and cooperation.
- Work closely with Marketing to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives.
Market Insights and Competitive Analysis
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in the region.
- Use market insights to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to understand their strengths and weaknesses and use that knowledge to refine your team's approach.
Compliance with Company Policies and Business Ethics
- Ensure that all team members adhere to company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
- Communicate any updates to policies and ensure they are understood and followed by the sales team.
- Lead by example and demonstrate a commitment to ethical business practices.
- Bachelor of Science degree in technical program, engineering, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in the Water Treatment Industry sales management
- Strong communication skills
- Able to successfully manage and train sales reps to increase region value
- Must have a valid Class B license and ability to either drive a company car or be on the Car allowance program - based on MVR results
