Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated, outgoing individual who is ready to combine their technical background, sales skills, and bilingual skills in English/Mandarin to grow their career. As an inside Sales Engineer, you will be working with an account manager and focused on maintaining and expanding business with existing customers, as well as developing new businesses, and building relationships with oversea suppliers. A career in sales engineering demands a good engineering background but also requires excellent communication, strong interpersonal skills & credible relationship building skills, determination, and confidence.

Responsibilities:

The duties of a Sales Engineer position include the following:

• Assist account manager maintaining existing accounts while developing new projects
• Must be highly disciplined, organized, detail oriented, and able to self-manage
• Daily communication and coordination with customers and oversea suppliers
• Follow up on all inbound client inquiries to uncover new and expanding sales opportunities
• Assist account manager review engineering prints and spec for new project quotation
• Update and maintain tracking master list for all inbound and outbound shipments
• Analyze monthly inventory demand and provide suggestion to account manager
• Occasional travel to visit customer and oversea vendors

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Mandarin is a must
• Authorized to work in the US is a must
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Industrial) is preferred
• Quick Books experience is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 2 years of previous sales experience is preferred
• Highly skillful with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook (compatible email)
• Hardworking, willingness to learn, able to multi-task with strong attention to detail skills
• Must be reliable, honest, patient, and organized

Work Environment:

• The main office is located in Brea, CA with satellite warehouses in Temecula, CA, and New Albany, IN.
• Office hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
