We are a local dairy/frozen food-service distributor looking for a driver. We are looking for a responsible person to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost effective manner while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. We are looking for a dependable team player who has great interpersonal skills. This job may sometimes involve heavy lifting and there can also be some long days. We offer competitive wages with benefits, paid holidays, vacation, employer match 401k etc. This position is full time with a 4 day work week and no weekends. We are looking for a team player to fit in and join our team of existing long term employees.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and in various routes/areas in the Greater Buffalo area and surrounding area

- Follow routes and time schedule

- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle

- Provide excellent services and resolve customer complaints when they arise in a professional manner

-Collect payments

- Inform customers about new products and services

- Complete logs and reports

- Follow DOT regulations and OSHA safety standards

- Comfortable with a handcart and doing warehouse work

- Team player mentality

Requirements:

- Proven working experience as a food service or related delivery driver

- clean valid professional drivers license.

- Good driving record

- Ability to safely operate refrigerated straight truck in a variety of weather and traffic conditions

- Good organizational and time management skills

- High school education or equivalent
