What is ARCA?
ARCA provides a unique service to electrical wholesalers by applying a circular economy approach to inventory management. We buy and sell industrial parts and equipment unlike any other business. After we purchase parts from our members, our warehouses rapidly receive and then re-sell the parts out of storage through diverse sales channels in a profitable manner. The internet and phones are responsible for most sales.
What is our Account Manager?
The Account Managers role is to support and grow the active Member accounts of ARCA’s customers. The Account Manager will be responsible for handling incoming customer inquiries via phone and email, providing product information, processing orders, soliciting more business, upselling, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the electrical industry. You’ll spend 50% of your time servicing your existing accounts and 50% of your time soliciting business from new accounts.
Detailed Position Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming customer inquiries and provide prompt and accurate information on products, pricing, and availability.
- Manage the sales process from start to finish, including lead generation, qualification, quote generation, and order processing.
- Collaborate with external sales representatives to provide exceptional customer service and support.
- Utilize a CRM system to manage customer accounts, track leads, and follow up on opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term loyalty and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activities to provide the most relevant and accurate information to customers.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.

- Have 3 years of professional experience in electrical or industrial distribution.
General Requirements/Qualifications:
- Experience in the electrical or industrial distribution industry
- Bachelor’s or master’s preferred or equivalent experience (no degree required).
- Communication and social skills.
- Understanding of CRM tools.
- High energy level.
- Organizational excellence and ability to multitask.

- Computer literate with advanced skills.

Work Hours, Compensation, & Benefits:
- 40-50 hours per week
