A&M Supply is looking to add a motivated and personable individual to join our Customer Support / Inside Sales team. Strong computer skills are required along with the willingness to learn about our business. Duties will include order entry, sales quotes, answering customer inquiries, working on sales promotions and other Ad-Hoc duties associated with meeting department objectives.

Customer service skills are crucial as the candidate will be expected to assist in the service of a large, existing customer base. To succeed in this role, a friendly, capable and creative attitude is necessary. We pride ourselves on finding unique solutions for our customers and are devoted to supporting continuous improvement strategies that will help us continue to be a reputable supplier in the market.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers through various methods of communication.
• Assist new customers through the account on boarding process.
• Provide customers with quotes and assist with product inquiries.
• Assist sales representatives in the field with inquiries and other customer support tasks.
• Conduct outbound calls to our customers regarding specific product promotions.
• Drive sales through developing and maintaining positive working relationships.
• Ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve customer issues.
• Perform Ad Hoc duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills including active listening.
• Service-oriented and the ability to resolve customer issues.
• Proficient computer skills and able to learn new software.
• Ability to learn product and services provided by A&M Supply to our customers.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

This is a Full-time, in office position, Monday through Friday, 8am - 5 pm.

· A&M Supply distributes materials to millwork and furniture Manufacturers as well as professional woodworkers, contractors and general contractors. Our company stocks an extensive mix of component as well as brand name supply products.
