About the Job

J.E. Schenk & Associates, Inc. is seeking a qualified, full time professional Insurance Agent/Customer Service Representative to join our team.

Applicants should have a current Property & Casualty Insurance license in good standing, a pleasant and friendly personality and maintain a strong work ethic with a commitment to success every day.

Responsibilities:

• Answers questions and concern regarding policy coverage, payment and billing clarification, claims filing, counseling and support.
• Make policy changes based upon client’s needs and subject to agency and company underwriting guidelines.
• Re-underwrite existing accounts to assist the agency in meeting established goals and guidelines.
• Make calls and correspond with policyholders and carriers using professional communication skills.
• Process payments.

Skills:

• Candidate should have a current State Property & Casualty Insurance license in good standing.
• Have a minimum of 2-4 years general office experience with at least 2 years working in an insurance agency, carrier or in an insurance related field.
• General working knowledge of auto & homeowners insurance products and other property/casualty personal lines policies is necessary. Knowledge of commercial and life products is a plus.
• Effective communication skills including written, verbal and listening as well as professional customer service skills are a must.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail.
• Be a team player and ability to work well with others are required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
