Sales Representative/Project Manager

Distinctive Granite and Marble, a company built on a strong 40-year-old foundation of integrity, commitment to excellent products, staff development and security, and exceptional customer service, is looking for a result-driven Sales Representative to join our Beaufort County showroom teams.

Salary: $35,000 - $55,000 per year which includes commission

Shift: 1st Shift – Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm; occasional Saturdays 8:00-12:00

Summary:

The primary job responsibility is to sell the maximum amount possible of our fabrication and installation services with natural stone, quartz, and any add on services, as well as accessories such as sinks, faucets, and any other product we may carry in the future. In addition to helping all customers as they come into or call into our showroom. Your day will consist of helping customers choose their stone and individual slabs, answering sales calls, advising customers on proper stone maintenance, as well as other general sales responsibilities. To be successful as a Sales Representative, you should stay up to date with product features and continue to place bidding to the construction field in a professional manner. Ultimately, the duties of a sales representative are to achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.

Responsibilities:

· Follow up on leads (website, walk-ins, referrals, social media, tradeshows)

· Completion of order entries and proposals

· Assist walk-in customers

· Sending job quotes to customers

· Review accuracy of drawings, send amendments, if necessary

· Invoicing and collection of accounts receivable

· Follow up after install with customer, if necessary, resolve any problems and provide support as needed

Requirements:

· Industry background is a plus

· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, area, and volume

· Ability to determine solutions for customers

· Must be result-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment

· Intermediate computer proficiency

· Sales and negotiation skills

· Communication and people skills

· Confidence and motivation to work toward goals

· Organizational and time management skills

· Problem-solving skills

Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
