About the job

Line Drive Trucking is seeking a highly motivated and experienced local Account Executive based out of Orange County to join our transportation team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for expanding our client base within the LTL and Drayage industry. Your primary focus will be on developing and nurturing relationships with new clients, while driving revenue and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Travel throughout assigned territory to build and maintain strong relationships with new clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within LTL and Drayage industry, including lead generation, prospecting, and networking.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and stay up to date with industry trends and developments.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our transportation services.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and meeting revenue targets.
  • Collaborate closely with internal team such as operations, customer service to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Track and analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Stay informed about competitors’ activities and market conditions, adjusting strategies as needed to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience selling regional LTL Freight.
  • Experience selling Drayage service a huge plus
  • Proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing key accounts, meeting, or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the transportation industry, including an understanding of logistics supply chain management.
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and trust with clients.
  • Result oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with a team.
  • Proficient in Excel, Power point, word, email, and CRM software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
