Job Summary:
The Director, Business Performance Standards - EVS will work directly with the VP, Business Performance Standards in order to create effective, engaging, and entertaining field learning opportunities from content related to operational standards to ensure corporate and regulatory compliance and understanding. The person in this role will perform or assist with various other related tasks and projects as advised by the VP to ensure effective tactical training, field implementation, communication and support is provided to the account.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather content and work with key collaborators to successfully develop field-based learning programs that directly correlate with our policies and procedures
- Support VP in the regular updating and maintenance of Touchpoint’s policies and procedures
- Develop and program eLearnings and other instructional resources using appropriate software
- Upload and maintain learning resources on the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Run reports and analyze learning related data from the LMS and other sources
- Write step-by-step instructional articles and tactical trainings and manage them on the designated platform
- Review all learning resources for effectiveness, engagement, and entertainment
- Proofread and review learning resources for factual accuracy and correctness
- Evaluate and research methods of learning to implement the most effective vehicles for field-based training
- Steadfast pursuit of learning and technology innovations that support the organization’s field-based training goals and initiatives
- Provide editorial review of policy before implemented
- Research and develop policy where applicable
- Maintain electronic manuals on intranet
- Product development, testing and purchasing compliance, including everything from Chemicals to Robotics
- Ensure accounts are maintaining compliance standards
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Four year college degree and equal related experience in Learning & Development, Field-Based Training or Education preferred
- Preferred experience in providing IT support for programs such as: Acuity, TaskUP, TeamLead, Hygenia, and other emerging technologies
- Experience with product development, testing, training, and purchasing compliance
- May be based anywhere close to an airport, ideally IL, WI, TX, TN, FL, or MI
- Travel up to 1-2 times per month for up to 3-4 days at a time
- Must have a balance of both Environmental Services (Housekeeping) technical skills and IT program/training competence
