Full description of the position

Application/System Sales Engineer II
Application/System Sales Engineer II for Fiplex Communications, Inc. in Miami, FL

Responsibilities:


  • Handle technical pre-sales and post-sales and radio frequency engineering tasks.
  • Individual is responsible for accompanying and assisting Sales Managers and Sales Executives on visits to support customers.
  • Support sales productivity and deal flow by securing the “technical close” in any kind of project.
  • Collaborate with sales, services, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers.
  • Transfer industry, technical and product knowledge to customers via good written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Assist in the development of formal technical sales proposals and present and differentiate product offerings at a technical level from the competition.
  • Provides customer after-sales support to customers including field RF services and training.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:


  • Location: Miami, FL
  • 40 hours/week
  • Employee Referral Fee: $1500

YOU MUST HAVE:


Qualified applicants must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication System Management or a related field, and 1 year of experience.

Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in stated fields and 3 years of experience.

Full term of experience must include: knowledge of Bi-directional Amplifiers systems used for in-building radio communication enhancement; radio frequency passive devices; radio frequency test equipment (Radio Frequency Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, Coax Cable/Antenna Analyzer); commissioning BDA/Repeater and Fiber DAS Public safety systems; hands-on Troubleshooting experience with over-the-air repeaters, passive DAS and Optical DAS; OEM Fiber DAS equipment (ADRF, SOLiD, Comba); handling RF mathematical calculations and link budgets; and wireless technologies, including conventional and digital radio modulation schemes.

Must possess an iBwave Design Software - Level 1 Certification.

Up to 50% domestic travel required.

Telecommuting permitted when not at a client site.
