Dennis & Co Auto Group is seeking a Sales & Service BDC Director to oversee all aspects of the Business Development Center and manage our outsourced Service BDC operations. The Director is responsible for managing all aspects of Sales and Service business development operations for the company.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing team training and mentorship to grow and support our current and future BDC Associates
  • Achieving Sales targets
  • Achieving Service activity targets
  • ROI/KPI tracking and reporting
  • Define and execute business development strategies for Sales and Service
  • Oversee daily BDC operations and activities
  • Improve our output on remote sales and ecommerce opportunities by working on the connectivity between the BDC departments and showrooms
  • Understand buying profiles and typical patterns of telephone and internet Sales and Service prospects
  • Partner with dealership management and performance managers to continuously improve and refine BDC processes
  • Install department and individual based objectives (daily, weekly and monthly to monitor progression of department
  • Provide reporting to executive team on leads, appointments, confirmations, shows and sold units
  • Maintain and improve our current CRM workflows
  • Establish and maintain a collaborative working relationship with our Service BDC provider
  • Monitor latest trends in automotive retail, service, automotive software and technology providers

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of BDC management experience in a multi-dealership environment
  • 3+ years of experience with E-Leads or similar CRM tool
  • Broad understanding of current advertising methods, spend and techniques
  • Business management in areas of budget and personnel management
  • High level understanding of the automotive industry and sales funnel
  • World class communication skills
  • Well developed math and business skills
  • Ability to plan and execute effective strategies and further refine by actual results
  • Ability to motivate, lead and delegate activities to the BDC Managers
  • Ability to recognize and recruit who will be successful
