Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Seeks out new and existing landscape construction business opportunities on a continuous and ongoing basis.
- Actively participates in prospecting and attending networking events (i.e. trade shows, association meetings, etc).
- Estimates project requirements to establish proposal price.
- Prepares contracts and/or presentations of project.
- Maintains positive client relations with clients by responding timely to their concerns and requests.
- Provides exceptional customer service and follows up with clients to determine and ensure satisfaction levels.
- Reports on sales activity accurately on a timely basis using CRM program and other tools.
- Conducts initial design meeting and onsite walk through with prospects/clients to determine needs.
- Analyzes horticultural/landscape problems and determine proper solutions.
- Presents landscape design proposal to clients.
- Coordinates with Design/Estimator Support personnel regarding specific design details to achieve excellent results.
- Participates in pre-construction “kickoff” meetings to ensure the appropriate planning and organizing of resources to complete a job in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensures accurate communication of job specifics to production team and clear, concise communication with customer or customer representative.
- Participates in sales training and keep up to date on the latest product updates and landscape services.
- Follows company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors.
- Exposure to standard office conditions, including exposure to heating and air conditioning and operation of computer. .
Education, Certification and License:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field is prefered.
- Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) or ability to obtain within two years of employment is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record is required
Experience:
- A minimum of 2-4 years of previous experience in landscape sales (commercial or residential) is required.
Specific Requirements:
- Proven success cultivating and managing customer relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
- Solid knowledge of landscape maintenance, landscape design and/or horticulture as typically gained through formal education and field experience.
- Knowledge of proposal and contract creation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Windows Operating Systems.
- Knowledge of plant identification, pathology, entomology and landscape construction techniques.
- Working knowledge of irrigation system installation and design is helpful.
- Strong knowledge of plants and plant material, including perennials.
- Ability to conceptualize, design, and graphically express design concepts.
- Ability to manage and schedule workload within project timetables.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and effectively communicate with diverse personalities and workstyles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Access.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly stands, walks, sits, talks and listens for long periods of time throughout the day.
- Squats, stoops, or kneels and lifts objects from ground.
- Occasionally lifts weight of up to 25 pounds.
- Occasionally required to reach above shoulders.
- Vision and fine motor skills required for use of computers.
Job Specifications
- This is a Full-time Year Round Exempt position.
- Typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm (approximately 40-50 hours per week)
- Saturday and some evening work required during peak season, or as needed.

The Landscape Sales Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Landscape Sales Department in the administrative duties involved in the implementation of landscape projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review job folders prior to project start
- Organize, catalogue and package Project Documents for storage and maintain an accurate inventory of documents.
- Review Project Documents for the scope of work-calculated volumes and lengths and areas.
- Verify with Purchasing dept. that special order items are ordered and quantities are correct.
- Aid in the take-offs and booking of change orders
- Work jointly with Sales Representatives to determine pricing and final bid totals.
- Facilitates information to the Production Coordinator assigned to the installation, answering questions regarding the landscape design or plan.
- Aid in the Production and distribution, booking information, project submittals, and closeout documents.
- Coordinate Subcontractors Agreements and prepare the necessary documents.
- Site visits and project meetings with Production Coordinators and General Contractors
- Communicate with General Contractors
- Provide information to the billing dept for AIA forms
- Access bidding documents from invites and internet forums to determine scope of work required to price all aspects of change orders.
- Analyze and distribute RFP’s from potential Subcontractors and Suppliers.
- Distributing forms to the proper department regarding General and Special Conditions, Bonding Requirements, Insurance Requirements and Project Schedule.
- Facilitate the production of Subcontractor quotes and suppliers proposals.
- Prepare change order documents including completed Proposal forms, Bonds, affidavits and submit bid prior to require specific time.
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete other tasks such as delivery and pick-up of plans, disks, films, etc.
- Make recommendations to improve processes.
- Participates in training of new staff members as needed.
- Follows company safety policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual will demonstrate and perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The ability to effectively communicate and interact, in a positive manner, with all Company personnel, regulatory agencies, customers, consultants and other contractor personnel is also required. Education, Certification and License:

Experience:

- Ability to read and understand commercial landscape plans and specs
- Familiar with reading Construction documents for compiling submittals and closing documents
- Understanding of plant material and construction material
Specific Requirements:
- Strong ability to manage and schedule workload within multiple project timetables.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office and be proficient in Excel.
- Ability to meet deadlines and analyze project details.
- Ability to discuss landscape process with customers and crews.

Job Specifications
