Job Title: Leasing Agent

Summary/Objective: As a Leasing Agent, you will play a vital role in our property management company by assisting prospective tenants throughout the leasing process, ensuring a positive and seamless experience from initial inquiry to lease signing. You will be responsible for showcasing available properties, conducting property tours, handling lease applications, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to prospective tenants, answering inquiries, and addressing their needs promptly and professionally.
• Showcase available rental properties to prospective tenants, highlighting features and amenities to attract interest.
• Conduct property tours, guiding potential tenants through the leasing process and answering any questions they may have.
• Assist prospective tenants with completing lease applications, ensuring all required information is obtained accurately and efficiently.
• Perform thorough background on applicants to evaluate their eligibility.
• Coordinate lease signing appointments, explaining lease terms and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed..
• Collaborate with the Operation Manager to ensure that units are well-maintained and ready for occupancy.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and other relevant documentation.
• Execute lease violation and serve notice to quit under the guidance and approval of the Property Manager.
• Work with case management and case works that help the tenants.
• Completed other duties as requested by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of computer operating systems (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Valid and current US driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with prospective tenants, property owners, and team members.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
• Willing to learn leasing procedures, fair housing laws, and rental market trends.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and professionalism.
• Competent computer skills and ability to learn to use leasing software

Competencies: $18 - $22

Reporting Structure: The Leasing Agent will be under the direct supervision of the Property Manager

Working Conditions:

• Environment: The Leasing Agents typically work in an office setting, but they may also spend time traveling to various properties, conducting property tours, and leasing.
• Physical Demands: The Leasing Agent Position may involve standing, walking, and touring properties for extended periods. They may also need to carry and set up materials during property tours or leasing events.
• Schedule: The Leasing Agent works full-time 40 hours a week, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate the availability of prospective tenants.
• Safety Measures: To ensure a safe work environment, the Leasing Agent will be required to complete the following training programs by the supervisor: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Training

Drug Awareness and Disposal Training
Fair Housing Lease Training
Mandt Training

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
