Assistant Property Manager

As a key member of our growing Property Management team, you will assist with the day-to-day operations for an assigned commercial real estate portfolio.

Who You Are:

You have a foundational understanding and passion for commercial real estate. Communication is your greatest strength with an ability to communicate effectively with those involved in all aspects of commercial real estate from ownership to tenants to vendors. You can shift gears in an instant with flexibility as you prioritize a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Relationships – Commercial real estate is an industry centered around relationships. You will build essential long-term relationships with our property ownership, tenants, and vendors with consistent communication and dependability.
• Financial & Reporting – Our clients’ commercial investments depend on you for timely, accurate, and valuable financial data/reports.
• Portfolio Value – Leasing is an important aspect of maximizing our clients’ portfolios. You help retain tenants by establishing exceptional lines of communication between ownership and tenants. You help fully-lease properties by preparing vacant spaces for market, and you influence portfolio value by assisting with capital improvement projects.
• Be a member of a growing team; help define and influence our property management services, culture & environment. You are comfortable working alone, but you enjoy the collaboration of a team environment.

Skills:

• High degree of flexibility and tolerance for change
• Strong communicator (verbal and written) with excellent interpersonal skills
• Well organized and detail oriented
• Ability to juggle many tasks at once, operate under urgent time constraints at times and able to prioritize and reprioritize tasks continuously
• Customer service oriented with positive, enthusiastic attitude

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of commercial real estate experience, preferably within commercial property management
• Washington State Real Estate License
• MRI and/or Building Engines experience (preferred)
• Understanding and experience with property management budget and accounting processes
• Understanding and experience with management operations and commercial leases
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
