The Account Strategy Director is a mid-senior level role that will provide oversight and management of assigned accounts, working in tandem with client service and operations team members including Account Managers, Programmatic Specialist and Social Specialists. Individuals in this role will maintain a direct line of sight into all aspects of their assigned account, serve as the point of contact for issue escalation and resolution, and ensure the team has a cohesive understanding of the client business objectives and media goals.
Along with client work, the Account Strategy Director will drive strategic planning for their assigned accounts, translating business objectives and brand strategies into integrated marketing campaigns that leverage the strengths of both social and programmatic communications channels to deliver consistent, smart solutions to their clients marketing challenges. This role will also be responsible for revenue growth and retention for the company from current clients, strategic brand development, and thought leadership support within the agency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
- Be your clients champion internally to ensure their voice is heard and cross-functional resources are aligned to how Coegi will contribute value to their business
- Become thoroughly familiar with your assigned brands business and desired outcomes; understand how the behavior of the target audience is changing in an increasingly connected world and how Coegi helps them drive tangible results with marketing technology and the use of data
- Develop and oversee a winning digital media strategy and ensure overall client success and satisfaction from campaigns
- Provide oversight of the day-to-day teams to guarantee KPIs and client expectations are met
- Possess a clear understanding of overall campaign performance/trends and maintains the depth of analytical knowledge necessary to service the account
- Work seamlessly with the assigned Account Manager, Social, Search and Programmatic specialists
- Serve as a strategic guide and mentor to the new team members on assigned accounts, providing guidance and support for proposals and POVs as needed.
- Develop POVs, analytical reports and other collateral as needed to educate and inform assigned clients of industry trends

- Must display a strong understanding of the digital media ecosystem (e.g. data providers, DSP/SSP platforms, etc)
- Must be familiar with multiple analytics and/or marketing platforms
- Excellent organization skills and adaptability to manage multiple clients in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills
- Some travel may be required, as dictated by client need
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree (marketing, advertising, media) or equivalent professional experience
- Agency experience preferred but not required
- 7+ years in a relevant, brand-facing role such as client service/account management or digital media strategy & planning
- Experience planning and or managing paid social, programmatic, and search campaigns (in-platform experience a bonus)
