Valet Parking Attendant at St. Regis Brickell Sales Center
Position Overview: As a Valet Parking Attendant at St. Regis Sales Center, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional valet parking services to future residents and their guests. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression by delivering top-notch customer service and ensuring the efficient handling of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and Welcoming Guests: Welcome arriving visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor. Provide a warm and hospitable first impression while assisting them with vehicle drop-off and retrieval.
- Parking and Retrieving Vehicles: Safely park guests' vehicles in designated areas. Retrieve vehicles promptly upon request, ensuring their cleanliness and readiness for guest use.
- Customer Service: always Maintain a high standard of customer service. Respond to customers inquiries, provide directions, and offer any necessary assistance with a courteous and helpful attitude.
- Vehicle Safety and Security: Handle vehicles with care, ensuring their safety and security throughout the parking process. Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of parking equipment and compliance with traffic regulations.
- Communication: Coordinate effectively with the management staff.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the valet parking area clean and organized at all times. Ensure that all equipment, such as parking cones, signs, and key cabinets, are properly stored and maintained.
- Valet Stand Operations: Assist in the overall operations of the valet stand, including managing the flow of vehicles, organizing key distribution, and maintaining necessary supplies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Professional appearance and demeanor is must.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age due to insurance requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- No visible tattoos.
- Clean shaven / Only well groomed beards will be permitted.
Working Conditions:
As a Valet Parking Attendant, you will work primarily outdoors in various weather conditions. The role requires standing for extended periods and occasional moderate physical exertion. The schedule may include weekends, holidays, and at time evenings due to special events.
