Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio 40+ multifamily properties.
• Supervise a team of property management professionals, including leasing associates, operations staff, and maintenance.
• Monitor and track key performance metrics for each property in the portfolio.
• Review and analyze property budgets and financial statements.
• Utilize Appfolio property management software for streamlined operations.
• Stay updated on local rent control laws and ensure compliance.
• Handle legal matters, including small claims actions and evictions.
• Provide regular updates to clients on portfolio performance and market trends.
• Engage and collaborate with contractors, vendors, affiliates to ensure portfolio performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
• Conduct weekly team meetings to discuss metrics and updates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of property management experience.
• Proficiency with Appfolio property management software.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to review property financials.
• Familiarity with changing local rent control laws.
• Experience in handling legal matters, including evictions.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
