MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The VP of Sales & Marketing leads the association’s marketing team, plans & budget, builds and develops relationships in the Local Service Area (LSA) and with customers and Centers of Influence, and develops sales plans to increase market share within the LSA.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field with Master’s degree preferred. 7 years of banking or agriculture experience and 3 years supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. Requires expert knowledge of credit, sales, and marketing principles. Expert knowledge of the agriculture industry, including persuasive sales and promotion of financial services and products. Problem resolution, analysis, gathering, compiling, and organization of information for sales and marketing purposes. Engagement, management, and coaching and development of sales and marketing teams. Travel within local service area required. Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook sufficient to create, update and save a variety of documents.
