SWE Homes is a Real Estate and Investment Company approaching a 40-year record of success in our industry. We have a regional model investing in residential and commercial real estate throughout all of Texas and other southern states. We are a well-established company with entrepreneurial grassroots looking for a dynamic Administrative Assistant to provide general administrative support for our sales department.
The ideal candidate for this position is highly motivated and has a strong work ethic with strong attention to detail and accuracy. The person in this role will undertake a heavy load of administrative tasks that include but are not limited to:
- Collecting customer information and documentation needed by our Independent Sales specialists to create a comprehensive sales file, which will then be forwarded to the loan department for processing.
- Obtaining tax documents for properties being sold and preparing them for use in the sales process.
- Keeping an accurate and up-to-date Excel spreadsheet of commission-only sales, including all relevant details.
- Requesting commission payments from the Accounts Payable department for approved commission-only sales, following the management's approval.
- Supporting the VP of Real Estate Management with various administrative and clerical tasks as assigned.
- Communicating and collaborating with employees and management at all levels in a fast-paced environment to gather or provide information required to complete tasks on time.
- Exercising independent judgment while working under general supervision, adapting to shifting priorities and contributing to special projects as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Two to three years of administrative experience preferably in Sales, Real Estate, or Customer Service environments
- Great time-management skills to prioritize workload efficiently while managing multiple deadlines and priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written communication skills, solid organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills to prioritize and follow-up/follow-through with projects/deadlines
- Excellent internet research skills, ability to type 50+ wpm, ability to demonstrate solid skills with MS applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
