This position has primary responsibilities of day-to-day servicing and direct support of commercial / personal lines accounts. Agency or insurance experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Process policy changes, amend coverage outlines, issue bonds, produce certificates of insurance.
• Expected to quote, field underwrite and issue personal lines policies. Will have the opportunity to earn commission.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, carriers, and producers by providing a superior level of service.
• Solid understanding of the agency management system, carrier websites, products, and coverages.
• Work with multiple insurance carriers.
• Update clients on claims.

Must Haves

• Property & Casualty Insurance License in NY
• Computer proficient and comfortable with changing technology
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft and willing to learn a new Insurance Management System

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $35,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
