Job Summary:
We are looking for a professional Sign and Branding Sales Executive with experience in business-to-business sales in the signage and branding industry. The Sign and Branding Sales Executive will develop, or bring with them, new books of business, both within and outside of our current customer base by educating and showcasing how Jones Sign Company can support their business growth through a wide array of signage and branding elements.
The ideal candidate will have a successful and verifiable sales track record within our industry.
Duties and Expectations:
Outside Sales
- Responsible for identifying and developing potential sales leads.
- Assist and drive submittal processes to develop accurate proposals.
- Dive deeper into existing customers to increase sales and profitability.
- Present to potential clients the full array of services Jones Sign can provide them with while developing sales opportunities to fit client-specific needs.
- Push specialty fab services beyond the core business we sell.
- Fixes systemic issues on sites at an account level.
- Finds solutions to client concerns.
- Unbiased client advocate
- Quarterly client check-in
- Bridge gap between sales, project manager, and customer
Inside Sales
- Work closely with National Program Managers to identify inside sales opportunities.
- Pursue warm leads from National Accounts who do not have centralized buying processes.
- Responsible for initiating the pre-bid due diligence process: code checks, design, subcontractor, and freight quotes.
- Adhere to all corporate branding guidelines and bid submission processes.
- Prepare sales proposal for customers.
- Respond to miscellaneous requests from RFI's, RFQ's, documents and/or marketing materials.
- Drive deeper into existing customers to increase sales and profitability.
Education, Experience or Specific Skills:
- Associate degree in a related field - marketing, business development, construction management, architectural or structural design.
- Bachelor's degree in a similar field is desired.
- 3+ yrs. sales experience with demonstrated success in business to business selling desired.
- Capable of working outside of the non-traditional work hours, as is common in sales.
- Sign, media, or display experience a plus.
- Robust ability to analyze options and problem solve the unexpected.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents required; mechanical aptitude is desired.
- Capable of doing or learning site surveys and field measurements.
- Sales-related training a plus.
