Business Systems Analyst – Sales Systems
The Lead Business System Analyst - Sales Systems will be a key member of the team at Zones. We are looking for individuals who want to grow professionally and make an impact on the business transformation of a $2 billion USD company.
The Lead Business Systems Analyst - Sales Systems is responsible for supporting all the systems and process needs of sales teams within Zones. The position focuses on developing a complete understanding of the end-users' business needs and designing system solutions to effectively support those processes. The BSA serves as the primary liaison between the sales business users and the IT teams.
Who You Are:
You possess intellectual curiosity, out of box thinking, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work/influence across multiple stakeholder groups.
You Possess:
- Strong working knowledge of sales team’s systems and processes
- Strong working knowledge of services and subscription sales
- Required 8+ years of experience in business systems analysis, systems functional analysis, and creation of business requirements documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, users, systems, and deadlines.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and change management practices.
- Strong expertise in system analysis, process mapping, data modeling, and creating functional specifications.
- Team player
- Proactive problem solver
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM/CE platforms
- Collaborate with the business to align strategic goals and objectives
- Be a thought leader providing ideas and solutions and anticipate their needs.
- Business case development with clear financial metrics of success
- A relentless focus on business outcomes
- Creating and maintaining constructive, positive partnerships between Information Technology and Sales
- Developing and documenting business requirements and functional specifications by aligning with business partners to understand requirements and work processes within Sales.
- Identifying and defining test cases and test scenarios related to Sales systems and processes.
- Assisting with training on new projects or applications
- Fully understanding the business processes of users within Sales, including shadowing business users to understand the how, what, and why of their processes
- Conducting recurring reviews with key business leaders to ensure alignment between Information Technology and Sales on key deliverables.
- Providing product ownership for application development/enhancements/fixes requested by an assigned business area, including documenting application functionalities, and providing consultative overview and guidance.
- Managing and resolving support issues and escalations as assigned by partnering with the first level Application Support team and monitoring the App Support queue.
- Working with business groups as production issues are escalated.
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or other relevant degree.
Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Washington and California area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
