Sales Assistant – Dorse & Co.
Dorse and Company represents the leading manufacturers in the air movement industry in Washington State. Summary
The Sales Assistant is responsible for the administrative needs of the sales process and providing excellent service to our customers. This is an entry level role with opportunities for career development and advancement within sales, estimating or accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Account Set Up – Review and cleanup software for new job accounts sync’d from Salesforce.
- Acknowledgements – Reconcile order acknowledgements against Fishbowl daily to ensure order accuracy and minimize accounting issues.
- Customer Sales Email Support Inbox – Assist in basic orders, providing parts quotes and color samples, and ordering products as needed.
- Document Research – Help sales and project managers find documentation as needed.
- Answer incoming calls, assist the caller or route as needed.
- Assist customers in warranty issues and damaged freight claims.
- Freight Tracking – Check shipment status, track orders, and forward information to customers.
- Provide support for other team members when needed by answering phones, filing, and placing parts orders.
- Research Invoices for Corrections – Review, answer, and/or correct as required.
- Process Credit Returns – Process vendor credits and debits for customers, project managers, and sales.
- Job Info Sheet Accounting Coordination – Sending / tracking with customers and accounting.
- Lien Release – Assist accounts receivable in sending this information.
- Non-stock Customer Deliveries and Coordination – Provide shipment status and tracking information to customers.
- O&M Documents – Assemble operations and maintenance documents.
- Track Orders – Provide shipment status and tracking information to customers.
- Shipments and Mailings – Prepare UPS/FedEx process vendor credits and credits for customers, project managers, and sales shipment.
- Marketing Material Ordering – Ordering brochures, catalogues, color chip samples.
- Monthly accounting filing and year-end archiving.
Requirements:
- 6 months of previous experience in related field/discipline. HVAC experience is preferred but not required.
- Computer Skills: Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Order Processing, Vendor Software

Salary Range - $21.00 + per hour, highly dependent on prior experience
