- Responsible for managing and growing sales in the designated regional territory for Food market segments focused on Nutrition, Food, and Beverage
- Generate profitable growth for Roquette measurable in variable margin contribution
- Generate new leads and expand customer base through a “hunter” mentality
- Promote and drive sales of Innovation products
- Identify, develop and nurture customer-driven Sales Funnel (project pipeline) in collaboration with Marketing and Customer Technical Service (CTS)
- Convert “won” opportunities in the Sales Funnel to purchase orders
- Partner with new and existing customers to ensure sustainable growth and generate incremental margins by offering value-based solution through Customer-Centric selling
- Understand market trends and the competitive environment in our Food market segments
- Continuously provide market and customer feedback to all internal stakeholders
- Maintain and aim to continuously increase the Net Promoter Score (NPS) at customer accounts in the designated regional territory
- Collaborate with Channel partners, as needed, to deliver the best solution to Roquette customers

- Confidence to work effectively with minimal supervision and is comfortable working in a dynamic, changing environment
- Demonstrated passion and skill sets for self-directed customer interaction, effective customer development, and problem-solving activities
- Able to understand product and application technical specifications by customer and relay it to internal experts for assessment
- Competent in establishing meaningful interactions with customer’s R&D, Product Development and/or Quality Departments, in addition to their procurement & operations teams.
Qualifications/Requirements:Education:Minimum of B.S. degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related applicable technical background in food science & nutrition
Experience:5+ years proven experience in the Food Ingredient Industry required5+ years in specialty food ingredient customer-facing sales roles desiredBusiness Trips (Percentage):Willingness to travel extensively as needed to perform the role (50%+) including occasional international trips
