Atlantic Communications is looking to add to the team, a qualified Sales Engineer. We are seeking an outgoing individual to join our company and join us in going to the next level. Atlantic Communications provides low voltage systems to our clients such as Structured Cabling, IP Surveillance Systems, Audio Visual, Fiber Optic Solutions, and other low voltage technologies.

You would be responsible for the sale of low voltage systems to general contractors, engineers, architects, owners, and consultants responsible for new construction and renovation building projects.

Sales Engineer Basic Job Duties:

• Developing new business opportunities
• Perform initial site inspections
• Assess the need/scope of work with the General contractor and/or the property owner
• Working up project pricing based on the scope of work and coordinate with vendors to obtain cost estimates
• Writing proposals based on the scope of work
• Act as the liaison between Company and Contractors/ Owners

Sales Engineer Daily Tasks:

• Develop new business, follow up on leads and manage relationships
• Communicate with clients to discuss upcoming projects and opportunities
• Working alongside operations to ensure sold projects are handed off for successful completion
• Respond to customer and co-worker questions with solutions
• Meet with customers at their office, construction site, or at the office to get quotes put together and out the door.

Sales Engineer Qualifications:

• Sales experience with industry knowledge - 5 Years Minimum
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications
• Understand how to interpret Construction Drawings, perform take off measurements and obtain material quantities for quotations.
• Proven history of consistent quota attainment
• Strong written and oral communication
• Positive attitude, team player, outgoing, ability to think outside the box
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
• BICSI and Manufacturer certifications are a huge plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Commission pay

Experience:

• Sales Engineer: 5 years (Required)
