Full description of the position

Digital Marketing Sales Representative - Tax & Accounting (Remote)
Base + commission of $80k for on target performance. Commission plan is uncapped and paid out monthly based on the prior month's performance.


The Role

This Digital Marketing Sales Representative role will work exclusively with tax and accounting professionals who are current clients of CPA Site Solutions. The Digital Marketing Sales Representative is a core member of the Go-To Market team responsible for helping our existing clients meet their goals by continually educating them on problems that can be solved by our products or services. The primary focus is to partner with our clients to foster an understanding of current client needs and buying trends, then actualizing this data in the form of closing sales. This includes cross-selling value adding services like SEO, add-on products (mobile, social, design), as well as upgrading client to higher platforms to ensure they are maximizing the best results from the CPA Site Solutions portfolio of products.

The Digital Marketing Sales Representative position is a quota-carrying position within the sales team at CPA Site Solutions. Consistent, regular outbound calling into our client base is required for success within this position.

Essential Duties

  • Serve as a partner to CPA Site Solutions clients by building relationships with clients for long-term growth of accounts and success.
  • Ensure monthly, quarterly, and yearly individual sales quotas are exceeded by selling SEO and add-on products to current client.
  • Record daily sales activities within our CRM (Salesforce) appropriately to monitor client engagement, sales funnel development, qualify prospects, build pipeline, and capture key data points to enable accurate sales reporting.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments of current clients, emphasizing features that clients express a need in or that align with their desired business goals.
  • Educate current clients on how to build a successful digital marketing presence.
  • Demonstrate SEO and add-on features to current database of client.
  • Attend exhibitor booths at various tradeshows as needed.

Key Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of successful quota-carrying technology-based sales (B2B preferred)
  • General understanding of and sufficient level of comfort with internet technology, SEO, web marketing, and practice management.
  • Proven track record showing ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Ability to provide clear and comprehensive written documentation using MS Office
  • Applications and CRM/pipeline (Salesforce) experience
  • Must be able to balance customer service approach with sales approach
  • Persistent and able to handle rejection
