This Permian Basis Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for driving revenue growth for all JJ Tech’s products and services in the region. This person will build relationships at all levels of their customer’s organization to understand their needs so they might recommend the best product or service solution to meet those needs. They contact customers, pitch and explain products features/benefits. This position would work in conjunction with our technical staff to evaluate customer data, provide a detailed quote and provide any requested information to answer questions that a customer might pose regarding the product. While well established in the region for many years, JJ Tech expects this sales representative to help improve and deepen existing customer relationships, develop new customer relationships thereby increasing market share. They will work with product line experts, technicians, services managers, and local field office to develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet customer needs.

5+ years of experience in oilfield artificial lift sales required. Experience selling downhole jet pumps for artificial lift is a plus.

The ideal candidate is someone who lives in the Permian Basin area, who has done the work that we cater to (artificial lift and salt water disposal), and with contacts at both operators and service companies. In addition, knowledge with

Ability to problem solve seeking solutions through the expertise of both self and others, researching the facts with care and resolving problems in a timely and thorough manner. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to work as part of a team and exercise tolerance and consistency when dealing with others. Skills are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in marketing or related discipline and two years of progressive experience in the energy services industry including experience as a sales representative

• Build and maintain customer/client relations within a specified area to discuss current and future work by scheduling meetings and staying top of mind with current and prospective customers.
• Assist in resolving any customer concerns in an effective and professional manner.
• Interact with customers daily via telephone and/or visits to customer’s offices.
• Maintain all sales demonstration tools and applications.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner.
• Responsible for submitting travel and expense reimbursement reports in a timely manner.
• Assumes personal responsibility for ensuring the duties of their position are performed in a safe, efficient and effective manner.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year, plus commissions and bonus
