POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Sales is responsible for building relationships and identifying the prospect’s need for our products or services, specifically for overhead doors.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Relationship building with new prospects and existing customers
- Create and maintain a business plan for the assigned territory to maintain and or exceed sales, and profit goals
- Identify, isolate, and investigate growth opportunities for overhead doors
- Completes jobsite visits with respective property & facility managers, maintenance supervisors and/or owners to review and better understand what their objectives are
- Ensures that proposals, pertinent documentation and paperwork are timely, accurate and complete
- Understands the technical aspects of the product
- Regular attendance at work
- Other tasks as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- 2-3 years prior outside sales experience in overhead doors
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- As a condition of employment, Guardian will conduct a background check and drug screen
- Ability to build rapport and build trust quickly
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a fast-paced environment and is subject to interruptions. Duties may require driving and sitting for long periods of time. Occasional need to drive a vehicle to other work locations.
