Job Description

Orbis Machinery, LLC is an independent, owner-managed design, engineering and manufacturing company of process equipment. With nearly 60 years of combined process and engineering knowledge, Orbis Machinery specializes in double arm mixers, tumble and ribbon blenders, ball mills and rolling mill solutions for the process industry.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Sales Engineer with experience in the food and specialty chemical industries. As a sales manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and increasing market share by developing and executing effective sales strategies. You will work closely with our customers to understand their unique needs and provide them with customized solutions that meet their requirements.

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets
• Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential customers
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business
• Work closely with the engineering team to develop customized solutions for customers
• Provide technical support to customers during the sales process
• Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing the sale
• Attend trade shows and industry events to network and generate new leads
• Analyze market trends and adjust sales strategy accordingly
• Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and specialty chemical industries selling double arm mixers, tumble and ribbon blenders, ball mills, and rolling mill solutions
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex equipment and processes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel often (up to 50%)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (Salesforce preferred)

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
