This role will require significant national travel to support accounts

What Youll Tackle:
  • Develop and deliver end-user customer education content including product and procedural training, product implementations and expansions, and required customer follow-up to ensure all clinical staff is trained and competent. (Hospital providers; no patient care)
  • Expertly communicate through engaging presentations and training value propositions to customers, administrators, and other hospital personnel.
  • Demonstrate value as a resource with Sales leadership and representatives to identify, prioritize and develop target accounts and achieve corporate, regional, and territory goals.
  • As a contributing member to the sales process, build and maintain strong relationships by promoting the financial and clinical value propositions with key stakeholders across multiple call points in the hospital.
  • Produce monthly reports demonstrating potential new accounts, progress through clinical trials, and anticipated close dates.
  • Establish and develop relationships with key clinical customers for the development of advocates, key opinion leadership programs, and/or customer advisory boards.
  • Serves as a clinical and technical expert on company products.
  • Participate on project teams, committees, and in meetings to provide input as to the clinical perspectives on products, issues, or needs.
  • Participate and facilitate educational, scientific, and promotional activities at company training, tradeshows, and corporate or customer events.
  • Provides customer insight for process and product improvement opportunities.
  • Keep current with medical literature, clinical initiatives/guidelines, competitive landscape, and industry trends and communicates with management, sales and marketing, clinical, and other appropriate departments.
  • Maintain professional and clinical continuing education, licensure, and credentials as applicable to clinical specialty.
  • Professionally interacts and maintains effective and open communication with all personnel, vendors/manufacturers, and customers.
  • Performs all duties, and other duties as assigned.
Whats Needed to Win:
  • Bachelors degree (preferred)
  • Certified Endoscopy Technician, Certified Nurse, Respiratory Therapist, or related clinical license with a passion for innovative products and patient care improvement (required)
  • 2+ years experience as a clinician (required) in endoscopy, interventional pulmonology, gastroenterology, respiratory, acute care, and hospital settings
  • Commercial experience alongside sales in sales education supporting a sales team within medical devices (strongly preferred)
  • ICU, ED, and OR experience preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
  • Ability to develop and sustain strong relationships across multiple functions, including distribution sales and customers
  • Excellent communication, organization, presentation, and time management skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to multitask
Compensation Range: $75,000-$90,000 base salary + bonus eligibility + benefits

Authority Assignment: Clinical Specialist reports directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing
