The Sr. Business Development Manager (Sr. BDM) plays a pivotal role in growing new business, accounts, and programs. The Sr. BDM will be expected to bring in key programs that match the core competencies and business models of the site’s service offerings. He/She understands customers’ requirement, application, order timing, and is able to articulate technology strengths and technical values to customers, and understand the production cycle. Using that knowledge, the Sr. BDM will qualify leads and inquiries, quickly provide customers with a quote and/or technical proposal, follow up with customers and win the new business. The Sr. BDM will be responsible for expanding existing accounts and developing new opportunities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Develop new business opportunities and expand customer base in Military, Aerospace, and Defense market
· Interact with engineering to adequately recommend a service/product solution.
· Communicate effectively with customers and prospects via phone, email and visits.
· Coordinate Engineering team with customers to provide resolutions to technical issues.
· Provide second-to-none customer responsiveness and support.
· Host customers’ site visits/audits and customers calls.
· Track and report monthly new business developed and order bookings
· Track and report quote activity, to include wins/losses.
Job Qualifications:
· Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from a fully accredited institution,
· 10+ years of experiences in technical product development, sales or marketing in the Military, Aerospace, and/or Defense related industry.
· Strong tie with tear 1 Defense customers, such as Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin…etc
· Experiences working in the electronics industry (component and system knowledge)
· Experience working with ERP systems, desirable.
· Due to export control rules, must be a US citizen or green card holder.

Salary and benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
