HVAC Counter Sales

Gerster Equipment Company, founded in 1995, is the Trane distributor for Western and Central New York and Northwest Pennsylvania. Our goal is to offer our dealer network superior product, business, sales, marketing, and technical resources and training, while adding value to the business relationship. We are a residential/light commercial HVAC (Trane, Mitsubishi Electric Trane US) distributor located in Williamsville, NY.

HVAC Counter Person wanted to leverage knowledge and skills, both independently and as part of a team.

Monday - Friday

7:30am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Conduct sales of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies over the phone and at the counter
• Identify and order parts
• Receive and process customer orders
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product or service
• Prepare and process warranties
• Ensure readiness and cleanliness of store and back stockroom
• On occasion, perform general warehouse duties and use company van/box truck to deliver equipment locally

Required:

• Mechanical aptitude
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Good computer skills
• Punctual, dependable, and reliable
• Must be self-motivated
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Forklift experience preferred
• Box Truck Driving experience preferred

Compensation package includes excellent benefits.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Experience:

• Parts Identification: 1 year (Preferred)
• Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
