Full description of the position

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an Enterprise Sales System Engineer that is an integral part of our outside sales teams. This person will be working with an enterprise account manager and inside sales representative.


The ideal candidate will currently reside in one of the following locations: Denver, CO - Dallas, TX - Chicago, IL.


What will you do?

  • Conduct engineering surveys at customer sites to define project requirements and create engineered solutions using Schneider Electric products and services
  • Manage projects during installation, implementation, and commissioning
  • Conduct post-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a consistent high level of industry knowledge on critical power, cooling and DCIM technology

What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred
  • In depth knowledge of data center physical infrastructure including power distribution, precision cooling, IT rack layouts and management software
  • 8+ years of experience in technical sales or a related field
  • Background in solutions design with an in-depth knowledge of IT Products
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, locally and regionally
