Position Description:

The role of the Client Success Consultant is to manage the vendor relationship of assigned Customers. The Consultant role is to ensure a risk free environment for the customer to operate under as it relates to copyright compliance issues. In addition, it is the responsibility of the Consultant to fully understand the Customer’s Business, their users, their associated need and all vendors that are part of the assigned Vendor Management Portfolio.

Day to day duties include:

Comprehensively manage assigned vendor portfolio to include, but is not limited to the following:

Vendor management

Contract negotiations

Invoice management

User profiling, tracking and updating

Contract Implementation, tracking and reporting

Manage all aspects of new and upcoming assigned vendor portfolio content renewals including:

eliminate risk as it relates to renewals and cancellation notifications

ensuring full utilization on contract

best price

Submit 90 Day Notification including, auto renewal and cancellation notification

User profiling (true reflection of actual, active users on system)

Internal notification and user approval requests

Contract Review (legal and commercial terms)

Renewal strategies and negotiation of terms and conditions

Conduct price benchmark studies

Review utilization to create a fact based engagement strategy

Implement strategy in accordance with SOX or GAAP compliance

The Client Success Consultant, self-motivated, detailed focused, energetic, enthusiastic, with a proactive “can-do,” “will-do” attitude. They have relevant subscription services industry experience and have a working knowledge of the major players (D&B, Gartner, Forrester, S&P, Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal and others) within the industry.
