Position: Sales Manager

Job Summary: As a Sales Manager at CertaPro Painters, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, developing and executing sales strategies, and leading a team of sales representatives to achieve company goals. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base, strengthening client relationships, and maximizing revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sales leadership, possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and be passionate about delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the senior management team to create sales strategies and business plans that align with the company's growth objectives and target markets.

Sales Team Management: Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets. Provide guidance, training, and regular performance evaluations to ensure continuous improvement.

Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to understand their needs, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Lead Generation and Prospecting: Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies to identify potential clients and opportunities. Follow up on leads and track progress through the sales pipeline.

Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Conduct persuasive and engaging sales presentations to clients, highlighting the company's unique selling points and value proposition. Negotiate contract terms and pricing to achieve favorable agreements for both the company and the client.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Sales Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor sales metrics, track progress against sales targets, and generate regular sales reports for management review.

Collaboration with Operations Team: Work closely with the operations team to ensure efficient project planning and execution, seamless handovers, and outstanding customer experiences.

Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to optimize sales performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a successful Sales Manager, preferably within the painting or construction industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team to achieve targets and objectives.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, lead generation strategies, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales-related tools.
  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
