Job Description:
IT Service Managers are typically responsible for managing service level agreements with Internal and external customers with a focus on IT service providers (Enterprise Services) for SS&C Health.
An IT Service Manager is a specialized role that performs the following functions:
- Planning and implementing IT Service Management processes and tools to optimize IT service delivery and reduce costs for SS&C Health and it’s clients.
- Manages IT service quality assurance, monitors system performance and works across departments to analyze performance issues. Leads efforts to obtain acceptable performance of Health applications running within Enterprise Services hosted infrastructure.
- Participates on Change Management calls representing SS&C Health impacts for ES infrastructure initiated changes, new capability and system deployments.
- Coordinates with ES infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, and problem resolution activities.
- Manages service level agreements reporting for system performance and system uptime.
- Work across IT Services teams to develop problem management and service improvement plans.
- Serves as primary contact for root cause analysis of infrastructure problems and document resolution plans.
- Performs incident analysis and works across Health and ES teams to define short and long term resolution.
- Conduct risk assessment and develop mitigation plans for system related issues.
- Conduct team meetings on regular basis to discuss about project issues and status.
- Ensure IT Services follows best practices and maintain service level agreements.
