The Community Liaison will play a key role in positioning Golden Harmony as a home care leader in the market. They will play a key role in increase billable hours and net revenue. They will meet with industry and community organization professionals and develop and manage top referral sources. The Community Liaison will contribute to the delivery of best-in-class customer service.
Responsibility Summary
- Generate referrals by building relationships with skilled nursing facilities, physicians, hospital case management, long-term care providers, assisted living communities and other referral sources for personal care services.
- Nurture relationships with all active referral sources for personal care services by making regular face-to-face contact (not the secretary or gatekeeper) by traveling to the referral source and meeting face to face.
- Participate with the team in generating ideas for custom call-out campaigns or email broadcasts.
- Actively listen to potential clients and family members and advise on what services would benefit them.
- Impress the value of Golden Harmony services on potential clients and family members.
- Increase referrals and new client admissions.
- Work with Client Experience Coordinator to communicate with referral sources and thank them for referrals.
- Manage the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System by documenting sales activities, using good organizational skills, and maintaining records that are up to date using an online calendar system.
- Participate in weekly and quarterly sales meetings with the Executive Director to review sales metrics and establish key targets.
- Participate in regular team meetings when appropriate.
- Partner with Executive Director and sales team to create, maintain and execute a sales plan within assigned area to achieve company goals.
- Prepare reports that track key metrics to present at weekly and quarterly sales meeting.
- Build brand awareness through involvement in community functions, professional organizations, health fairs and other networking events to increase personal care referrals.
- Meet or exceed billable hour targets on a weekly basis.\
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain communication with management team, including feedback and support needed to execute the above responsibilities with a high level of quality.
Education, Training and Experience
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in area related to sales and marketing, communication or advertising.
- Two to three years’ experience of marketing and networking in homecare, senior living or advocacy for the elderly in assigned market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Promote in-home care services in Wake, Durham and Orange Counties
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Be an expert in the in-home care industry, regulations, and trends and stay on top of changes
- Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Power Point; G-mail, Google Apps, etc.
- Must be able to use a variety of office equipment (i.e. computers, scanners, copiers, fax machine, phone system, etc.)
- Ability to use a variety of social media platforms
- Ability to use a CRM System
- Ability to think strategically and maintain focus on short and long-term goals
- Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
- Ability to adjust priorities and focuses with little notification
- Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to use automotive equipment
- Ability to travel to various Golden Harmony clients throughout Wake, Orange and Durham Counties.
