Overview
The Warranty Specialist role is a key part of the Sales Operations Team. Warranty Specialists will use their professional sales skills to increase Sounds recurring revenue by selling our Sound Assurance warranty coverage plans. This position is all about helping business customers protect their investments. This position might be a good fit for you if you enjoy building relationships to use as your main selling tool and you understand the importance of customers making additional, small investments to protect their original, large investments.

Responsibilities

Use outbound calls and email to solicit expiring Sound Assurance customers in a given territory with extended warranty options.

Solicit extended warranties and related products for any expired or lapsed customers in territory.

Prepare Sound Assurance contracts or quotes as necessary.

Create opportunities for these customers in a CRM system.

Carry out administrative tasks & processes related to the sales of Sound Assurance plans.

Assist in managing and updating customer account information in CRM.

Refer leads from the Warranty Sales Team to the Inside Sales team for potential product upgrades or trade-ins.

Work Experience Requirements

Prior sales experience with a hunger and passion to succeed.

Ability to multi-task and handle email and call volume.

Administrative office experience a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, IE) and CRM and ERP programs.

Must have strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Must possess a genuine care for the customer and the customers overall experience.

Proven ability to follow through/follow up and resolve issues.

Strong teamwork abilities, including the ability to effectively work with leadership, peers and other internal and external individuals.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Education Requirements

BS/BA degree desirable, or equivalent experience.

Physical Requirements

Extensive phone work, typing and data entry (90%).

Predominately sitting (85%).

Occasional travel (1%).

The Target Pay Range for this position is $18-$19 an hour, plus commission. At Antech and Sound, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
