The Account Executive would provide support to the Sales department of third-party benefits administration products and services. This position would use technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products and services to their needs. This position has key responsibility for maximizing product/service quality, quantity, cost effectiveness, and profitability in keeping with individual targets and the goals and objectives of the company to maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with administrative departments to ensure services are provided in accordance with customer requirements.
• Establish and maintain communication paths with the customer and related line departments.
• Perform educational presentations for employees in various settings and locations.
• Develop a close working relationship with employers to renew benefits on an annual basis and offer daily support.
• Develop and regularly update customized employee facing materials.
• Participate in the development of new products, modification of existing products/services and termination of ineffective product and services in an effective and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or Equivalent Work Experience
• Knowledge of ERISA and/or employee benefit experience preferred
• Solid oral and written communication skills
• Traveling is required – approximately 20%
• Ability to effectively interact, present information, and respond to questions from customers, colleagues and management
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize and use time management skills and ability to work independently with critical deadlines
• Comfortable working in a result driven team environment
