[please apply online] Sales Representative / Project Manager is responsible for full-lifecycle roofing projects. These activities include strategic sales, project planning, oversight, and final closeout. Successful candidates operate independently with limited supervision and are highly organized, responsive, motivated learners, and customer-centric. Successful candidates are outgoing, high-energy, and generate positivity. Backgrounds in various service industries transfer well: military, restaurant, auto, telecommunications, tech, logistics/shipping, and oil/gas, with an affinity for sales and career growth! Roofing Sales experience preferred, but not required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Always represent the company professionally and exhibit ethical and moral behavior in all business interactions and decisions.
- Proudly represent the company in company-branded attire while working.
- Maintain communication with customers and office personnel.
- Attend weekly company meetings; discuss project opportunities, participate in training, identify customer needs, evaluate commercial backlogs, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Generate sales leads and follow up with customer inquiries, driving the sales pipeline. This includes canvassing residential and commercial properties and engaging with property owners/landlords.
- Maintain and actively update Customer Relationship Management ‘CRM’ system daily.
- Perform roof and property inspections on residential and commercial properties/structures.
- Present and explain reports, images, and findings to customers.
- Schedule and attend insurance adjuster meetings, representing the customer.
- Collect and follow up with customers for any outstanding payments.
- Provide project support during construction while keeping customers, and office personnel informed and updated.
- Resolve and escalate issues to management in a timely fashion.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and make constructive suggestions.
- Encourage collaboration, mitigate conflict, foster positive communication, acknowledgment, and appreciation.
- Track company lessons learned and share them with team members during the weekly company meetings.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
