Gummer Wholesale, Inc. is looking for a Full Time Outside Sale Representative for our Columbus, Ohio territory. GWI provides convenient store inventory to customers in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia. Gummer Wholesale, Inc. has been a stable family owned business for nearly 68 years, and we're growing!!

We are looking for a high energy, hands on, person to meet and exceed sales and profit objectives for the Company for existing accounts as well as the solicitation and implementation of new accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Growing existing accounts through GWI sales programs
• Increase overall sales through the acquisition of new account growth
• Develop & Implement action plans for error free, cost effective start ups.
• Interact closely with all departments to ensure best possible program at the lowest possible cost.
• Provides real-time wholesale and retail updates on competitor activities.
• Develops & Implements retention plans to prevent erosion of GWI market share
• Maintain accounts receivable on assigned retailers.
• Issue A/R terms to new accounts following Corporate approval
• Develop and maintain sound relationships with assigned retailers
• Maintain frequent contact with key prospects
• Other related duties and responsibilities as determined by management
• This position reports directly to the VP Sales and Marketing

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of solid, outside sales experience and accountability
• Experience in Retail Food and/or Consumer Product sales desired.
• Solid track record of performance and reliability managing accounts and product
• Superior communication skills

• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Must have a current, valid driver license and be validated by driver history check
• Car allowance and mileage program
• Company card for approved home office / customer expenses
• Extended hours, holidays, weekends can be expected from time to time
