Full description of the position

Job Title: Account Executive

Reports To: Director of Sales

Supervision: No

FLSA Classification: Exempt

Overview

The mission of the Account Executive is to drive revenue by identifying and building value for prospects and partners through professional execution of Delaget’s sales processes. A demonstrated focus on personal development and accountability is critical to success. This person is a key member of our team and will effectively develop and execute strategies to 1) create brand and industry expertise that builds value for prospective clients and partners, (2) expand Delaget’s brand and partner footprint and (3) successfully transition prospects into clients, (4) convert partner customers to Delaget Platform clients.

Responsibilities

  • Personal accountability for driving revenue and meeting or exceeding quotas in assigned territories.
  • Accountable for top of funnel activities to drive new business within target brands and partners, meeting or exceeding targets and quotas.
  • Articulate and demonstrate the full range of Delaget’s SaaS analytics offerings against the business needs and success criteria of our new market prospects.
  • Plan and develop short- and long-term business objectives and strategies for breaking into target brands and partners.
  • Conduct research to identify and select potential future target brands and partners.
  • Maintain in-depth product, industry trend, competitive and technical knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Product and Marketing, to apply, support and refine our sales strategy and focus.
  • Coordinate with Client Success Manager to ensure knowledge transfer occurs after a new client is set up.
  • Provide timely, key metrics to stakeholders and be an expert at sales forecasting.
  • Understand Delaget pricing policies and perform pricing negotiations with prospective clients.
  • Leverage internal & external tools to drive research, build and clean targeting list/database.
  • Orchestrate resources both internally and externally throughout the sales & qualification process.
  • Accurately capture and report all aspects of account, opportunity, and partner information within [please apply online] to all inbound inquiries and web leads, qualifying prospects in partnership with the account team.
  • Speak the language of our customers by communicating technical, industry and market facts to position Delaget as a best-in-class solution that delivers material economic results to our customers.
  • Selling the suite of Delaget products (+Recovery, Coach, Detect, Delivery, etc.)

  • Expert user of technology, specifically, MS Office, Outlook, and Salesforce
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in business, marketing and/or entrepreneurship

Working Conditions

  • Travel may be necessary to complete job duties.
  • May work beyond normal working hours, on weekends and holidays, and/or in other positions when necessary.
