Akins Machinery - a Division of Würth Baer Supply Company is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to sell woodworking machinery in a large territory including the State of Ohio, State of Indiana, Northern Kentucky, and Lower Michigan.
As a sales representative, you will work independently and decide how to best grow your market. You will look for top solutions for both the company and our customers and deliver quality service and reliability to your customers. Your responsibilities include handling current customer accounts, growing sales and growing your accounts overall. Treat your territory as if it is your own business, use your follow up skills and help us become the company of choice for our customers. If you are driven, value autonomy and value playing for a tight-knit team, this role is worth checking out.
Note: Because the territory spans several states (State of Ohio, State of Indiana, Northern Kentucky, and Lower Michigan), someone who is familiar with this geography will have an advantage. With hundreds of established accounts already in the book of business and with the expected major growth, success is highly attainable.
Requirements:
- Two (2) years of demonstrated success in outside sales experience
- Must have experience selling woodworking machinery - Please refer to Akins Machinery website for similar products
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent written and communication skills
