Now Hiring - Thermal Specialties - Sales and Operations Manager - Ft. Worth in Fort Worth, TX

Thermal Specialties is looking for a Sales and Operations Manager for our Heat Treat Division in Fort Worth, TX. Thermal Specialties is a family-owned custom manufacturer and service organization. The position will be approximately 40% Customer Development and Service. This will include working with Thermal Management to identify prospective customers and associate business development. The balance of the position is to manage the operations of the facility. The plant has a solid team but needs oversight and leadership.

Qualified Candidates must possess:

• High school diploma or equivalent; College experience / degree and related training is preferred.
• Requires experience in sales and operations management
• Preferred experience in heat treating, metallurgy, inspection with college, B.S.M.E. (metallurgy) and/or equivalent work experience
• Required 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role managing multi-level employees
• Must have good time management, multi-tasking, problem solving, and teamwork skills.
• Must be comfortable under pressure and capable of speaking to customers in a calm and helpful manner.
• Prior work experience should provide evidence of the aforementioned skills and traits.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow the revenue in the Ft. Worth facility
• Regular customer interaction to build relationships and onboard new customers
• Directs activities of production foremen and supervisors, and to set priorities for day-to-day equipment maintenance, and maintains appropriate production staffing as needed to meet company goals.
• Responsible for shop production schedules and conduct production meetings including supervisors’ meetings working closely with the Customer Service Manager
• Oversee and manage cost and asset utilization to maintain or improve plant profitability.
• Ensures customers’ needs are appropriately met by shipping on schedule with minimum turnaround time and a high degree of quality, working closely with the Quality Manager
• Supervise the manufacturing heat treating process and personnel at the Heat Treat Facility
