Service Account Manager
Service Account Manager
Hunter-Davisson, Inc. has been serving businesses in Oregon and SW Washington since 1965 and became Employee Owned in 2020. The Service Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for delivering an exceptional service experience to our customers. The SAM must be comfortable and proficient working in a fast-paced, demanding, and technical environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Review work orders daily for accuracy, follow up, and quality control before assigning to billing.
- Communicate opportunities, issues, trends to management and marketing.
- Provide input on performance reviews for field and office employees.
- Participate in management of emergency service on-call rotation approximately every two months.
- Participate in job walk at turnover and owner training when appropriate.
- Bridge the gap between the customer and technical staff.
- Estimate repair and replacement costs including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, create proposal and submit to customer in a timely manner.
- Daily communication with customers, technicians, and vendors via, phone, email and text.
- Process warranty claims on behalf of the customers’ equipment.
- Create work orders occasionally.
- Project Manage your own projects.
- Order materials, equipment, hire sub-contractors.
- Keep customers informed on status of repairs.
- Be responsible for managing, maintaining and enhancing relationships with a portfolio of customers.
- Maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction to both external and internal customers.
- Handle customer complaints and or concerns in a timely manner. Occasionally meet with customers in person to address their concerns when needed.
- Treat coworkers as internal customers.
- Be fully committed to the success of the team; meet our high standard for open communication, active problem solving, and a positive work environment.
- Work well in high-pressure situations. Exceptional prioritization and time management skills are essential for success.
- Possess a combination of analytical thinking, proactive problem solving, and a customer-service mindset.
- Work over-time periodically to meet the clients’ needs.
- Acknowledge and accept mistakes and learn from them working toward continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements:
- Technical acumen is required – must be able to develop a working knowledge of HVAC-R.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word and Excel
- Conduct self in accordance with HD’s Core Values.
