Job Summary:

Join our evolving sales team in the metalworking manufacturing industry. We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual with a strong background as a machinist or equivalent manufacturing tool experience, particularly with CNC equipment. If you're eager to make a difference, open to creative ideas, and computer savvy, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Support active customer accounts through in-person visits, calls, emails, and other communication methods.
• Acquire new accounts and uncover opportunities within existing accounts.
• Maintain regular contact with customers, addressing problem areas and finding solutions.
• Update all sales calls in the shared outlook calendar daily.
• Manage vending machines and collaborate with the sales team for quotes and orders.
• Enter quotes, orders, and purchase orders into the ERP system.
• Monthly review of customer accounts with the VP of Sales.
• Attend monthly training sessions and sales meetings.
• Initial extensive training period to learn company culture, products, customers, and ERP system.

Qualifications:

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• Ability to build working relationships and resolve customer issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Outlook and Excel.
• Background in machine shops or understanding of cutting tools and CNC operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Commission pay

Experience:

• Machine Shop or Cutting Tool Sales: 2 years (Required)
